As space activities move beyond Earth orbit, the Moon is emerging as the next frontier for exploration, commerce, and even settlement. This program provides a rapid overview of the developing field of lunar governance and space resource utilization (SRU). Mentioned topics include the international legal framework under the 1967 Outer Space Treaty; national SRU laws in the United States and other jurisdictions (hints); and the role of the Artemis Accords in shaping emerging norms.
